QTS ENGLISH TEACHER

We are seeking a qualified English Teacher (QTS essential)to join our successful and thriving English department at one of our schools in South London.
About the Role:Teach English across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 desirable but not essential)
Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that inspire a love for reading, writing, and critical thinking
Contribute to curriculum development and departmental planning
Assess student progress and provide effective feedback in line with school policies
Support pupils of varying abilities to achieve their full potential
Take an active role in the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities or literacy initiatives
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)in the UK
Have a degree in English or a related subject
Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a passion for English literature and language
Be committed to high expectations and improving student outcomes
Be reflective, collaborative, and eager to contribute to a dynamic team
Have excellent classroom management and interpersonal skills
