What you will do:

* Plan and monitor tasks to successfully achieve the business objectives of your designated team.
* Provide effective appraisal and supervision of staff to enhance service delivery within the Council.
* Ensure compliance with national and local Safeguarding Adults policies and legislation.
* Support your team in maintaining and striving for high professional standards.
* Promote a strengths-based model of self-directed support, empowering service users and carers.
* Directly supervise selected staff, manage their workload, and drive their performance.
* Be financially prudent, managing projects within the set financial limits while fostering independence among service users.
* Establish high standards of practice, holding accountability for service delivery in alignment with departmental mandates.
* Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to support health and care integration plans across Hackney.
* Partner with the Team Manager and Consultant Social Worker to prioritize and balance development with practice work.
* Operate within a performance management framework, contributing to Quality Assurance initiatives.
