About the role

The Principal Accountant (Developments/Projects) role supports strategic financial planning and management of capital investment schemes, particularly in housing and regeneration. It involves providing expert financial advice, developing business cases, and ensuring robust financial modelling and compliance with council policies. The role requires strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills, along with experience in local government or housing finance.

The successful candidate will be CCAB part of fully qualified and will have some prior experience of working in Local Government finance.
