Nanny

A family in Kensington are looking for a long-term nanny or nanny-housekeeper to care for their two children, a boy aged 9 and a girl aged 6. They’d love someone warm, reliable and organised, who can bring a bit of structure to the children’s afternoons and evenings while keeping things fun. This is a long-term role for someone looking to really become part of the family’s routine.

Job Details
* Days & hours: Monday – Wednesday 11:30 – 19:30; Thursday 11:30 – 20:30 and Friday 11:30 - 18:30 | 40 hours
* Start date: ASAP / January 2027 – flexible for the right person
* Location: Kensington, W8
* Ages of children: B9 and G6
* Salary: £41,600 – £47,840 gross per year / £20 – £23 gross per hour (depending on experience)

Duties
The nanny will have time at the start of the day for child-related tasks, such as the children’s laundry, meal prep and keeping their spaces and belongings organised. The children attend different schools, so the nanny will share the school runs with the parents across both schools. Afternoons and evenings will include after-school activities, homework, preparing healthy meals and managing the evening routine. The family would really value someone who can gently encourage the children to get their homework done and keep them moving along with it.

If the nanny is open to housekeeping, the family would love some extra help around the home during the morning hours. This could include family laundry and ironing, changing beds, keeping the kitchen and main living areas clean and tidy, light cleaning, food shopping and helping keep the household organised and running smoothly.

Skills & requirements
* Experience: Solid experience with school-age children
* Languages: Good level of English, confident supporting with homework
* Driver: Yes – essential
* Other must-haves: Looking for a long-term role, open to housekeeping duties is a bonus, excellent references, up-to-date DBS and First Aid (or willing to obtain)
