What impact you will have
An AI startup is seeking a skilled Go developer with strong understanding of server operations and Kubernetes to design and develop a control system interfacing with Kubernetes APIs to provision and manage containerized LLM workloads, ensuring scalability, load distribution, and persistent state management. Working alongside a dedicated Kubernetes infrastructure professional who will manage the cluster, you will focus on building a robust, Go-based control plane to automate provisioning, scaling, and monitoring.
What you’ll do
- Design and implement a Go-based Kubernetes control plane to manage containers.
- Write necessary unit and integration tests
- Optimize code for maintainability
- Document the codebase and provide operational handover to support long-term maintenance.
What you’ll need
- Education : College degree or equivalent experience
- Experience :
- 3+ years of software development experience, with at least 2 years in Go.
- 2+ years working with Kubernetes, including hands-on experience
- Experience with stateful applications, including persistent storage
- Experience in writing Kubernetes Controllers/Operators
- Experience with Kubernetes APIs and CRDs
- Familiarity with Kubernetes networking and load balancing
- Knowledge of monitoring systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) and metrics integration with Kubernetes.
- Technical Skills :
- Proficient in Go for backend development, with expertise in concurrency and APIs.
- Proficient in Go error handling and resilience
- Knowledge of context-aware Go programming (timeouts, cancellation)
- Proficient in version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
- Proficient in integration and unit tests
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of observability tools (distributed tracing, etc)
- Understanding of due security practices
- Strong knowledge of Linux
