The Company

Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Property Underwriter to join the International Property team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with 1-2 years of insurance experience, ideally with exposure to international property underwriting. The successful candidate will support the underwriting team in managing and developing the property portfolio, ensuring a high standard of service and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist underwriters in evaluating and processing property insurance policies.
- Support the analysis and assessment of risks associated with international property.
- Prepare and maintain accurate underwriting documentation and reports.
- Liaise with brokers and clients to ensure seamless communication and service.
- Contribute to the development and execution of underwriting strategies.
- Conduct market research and data analysis to support underwriting decisions.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in the insurance industry, with a focus on property underwriting preferred.
- Knowledge or exposure to international property insurance is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- A team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
