Solution Architect
Experteer Overview In this role you will drive solution architecture for Sky's UK&I portfolio within Engineering Solutions, reporting to the Principal Solution Architect. You will translate initiatives into capability changes, simplify complex requirements, and guide teams with architecture guidance aligned to business goals. You'll promote a capability-led approach, contribute to the architecture runway and governance, and collaborate across product, engineering and enterprise teams to deliver value at scale. - Engage with enterprise, system, product and engineering teams to break initiatives into capability changes and provide clear architectural guidance Challenge requirements and propose simpler, value-focused alternatives when appropriate Role-model a capability-led approach and contribute to the capability model for the area Help build the architecture runway aligned with business and technical objectives Collaborate to ensure technical excellence, collaboration, and strong delivery Contribute to architecture governance and participate in enterprise governance forums as needed Tasks Solution Architecture expertise Ability to decompose initiatives into capability-based changes Experience aligning solutions with product and engineering teams Experience contributing to architecture runway planning Ability to engage in governance processes and maintain principles, policies and standards Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Key requirements Free Sky TV or NOW package with Sky Sports and Sky Cinema Pension with up to 9% employer contribution Private healthcare with mental health support Aviva Digital GP and dental insurance Discounts on Sky products (Sky Mobile, Broadband, Sky Glass) Sharesave and Tech schemes
