Are you a Sub-Agent with a strong civils background looking for your next project in South London?

Do you have experience managing subcontractors and delivering a mix of civils, landscaping and fit-out works on rail stations?

Rate: £450-£500/day DOE, Inside IR35
Duration: Contract through to summer 2027
Location: South London

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Sub-Agent to join a high-profile station and urban realm project in South London, with a total value of around £10m.

Upcoming works include groundworks, drainage and ducting, reinforced concrete slab, hard and soft landscaping across the urban realm, fit-out works to the viaduct arches, train station platform modifications and decoration works within the station building.

The successful candidate will join a close-knit site team and will be expected to help with managing subcontractors, ordering materials, quality assurance, planning upcoming works and sending enquiries to specialist subcontractors.

Requirements:
·Previous experience as a Sub-Agent, Section Engineer or similar on rail projects
·Engineering background preferred
·Strong civils experience including groundworks, drainage, ducting, reinforced concrete and paving
·Hard and soft landscaping / public realm experience - desirable
·Fit-out experience - desirable
·Rail or live station environment experience
·Experience managing subcontractors and small packages of work
·Experience ordering materials and managing quality assurance
·Experience planning upcoming works and developing work packages
·Ability to send enquiries to and meet with specialist subcontractors
·Strong site logistics and planning experience
·CSCS
·PTS - desirable
·SMSTS - desirable

The role is site-based 5 days a week, with some flexibility for occasional home working, and may involve visits to other sites across London and the South East.
