Job Description:
The Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust is looking for a dedicated and experienced Locum Audiologist to join our team at the Royal Free Hospital. This is a full-time role with a commitment of 37.5 hours per week, offering flexibility in the working pattern over 4 or 5 days.

What your responsibilities will be for this Audiology role?

As a Band 6 Locum Audiologist, you will be responsible for performing adult audiological assessments, fitting and maintaining hearing aids, and conducting hearing tests for older children. You will deliver detailed diagnostic and therapeutic audiological services, providing tailored solutions to meet individual patient needs. Your role will involve collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care, maintaining precise patient records, adhering to departmental protocols, and participating in service improvement initiatives to enhance the quality of audiological services provided.

Requirements:

• HCPC registration as an Audiologist
• Right to work in the UK
• Proven experience in adult audiological testing and hearing aid fitting
• Experience in conducting hearing tests for older children
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
