Channel Sales Manager

Our EMEA Alliances and Channel organization is seeking a Channel Sales Manager to join our growing team. In this role you will strategically plan and deliver a cross-functional strategy to engage our current and potential partners in the UK reseller community.
We are looking for an individual who understands the channel business and how to grow, scale and manage a region. In addition to managing, recruiting and enabling partners, you will be responsible for driving marketing activities with your partners to increase brand awareness, accelerate pipeline and achieve customer success and product adoption.
Reporting to the Regional Partner Director, UK you will have a unique opportunity to work for a disruptive start up and lead the development of a new set of sales focused ecosystem alliances. This is a quota carrying position.
Key Responsibilities:
Evangelize, enable and develop go-to-market strategies with the reseller and partner community
Manage a portfolio of high performing partners to achieve partnership goals including sales quota and marketing activities
Develop best practices to engage with partners, escalate issues and set clear expectations with partners on working with Snowflake
Develop partner specific account plans to include annual & quarterly goals, marketing support, requirements, etc.
Ensure partners are maintaining baseline training and knowledge of Snowflake
Adhere to and support various program guidelines, rules, and measures
Assist as needed in the development of required support materials for the program
Measure and report on the success of assigned partners
Help with recruitment, training, and on-boarding of new partners
Desired Experience
10+ years of industry experience within partnership/alliances sales & business development
5+ years of direct channel sales/management experience within the SaaS space, ideally supporting the Public sector
Extensive experience and working relationships with key UK resellers
Ability to design and present business plans, track and articulate program progress, design and document program guidelines for distribution throughout the organization (all levels) and for external use
Working knowledge of cloud environments and Data preferred.
Ability to travel up to 50%

Strategic Go-to-Market : Work closely with VARS to build a comprehensive joint business plan. Collaborate on joint GTM strategies including strategic objectives and target markets/industries. Define joint industry solutions and offerings with that demonstrates capability while differentiating the partner. Achieve partnership goals including sales quota and marketing activities; this is a quota carrying position. You will also work closely with new partners who are excited to build a GTM with Snowflake.
Practice Development : Inspire partners to grow their practices with Snowflake. Evaluate their expertise, capabilities, and delivery quality and activate the GTM programs accordingly. Define certification growth plans and support enablement of the partner. Cultivate strong and lasting relationships with key Sr executives and decision-makers at the partner.
Results-oriented Partner Management : Effective and proven Partner Management skills will be necessary to manage the alliance development lifecycle. This will require the ability to be a self-starter focused on building and owning the 360-degree relationship.
Cross-Functional Collaboration : Collaborate with other departments, such as product development, sales, sales engineering, professional services, legal and marketing, to ensure a seamless partner & customer experience. Share partner & customer feedback and insights with relevant teams to drive continuous improvement. This candidate will collaborate with a team of technical experts to drive solution building with our partners.
Deal Support: Assist VARs in navigating Snowflake’s partner program & sales process, including deal registration, proposal support, reporting and alignment with Sales Leadership. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth and efficient sales cycle both with VARs.
Deliver on Performance: Monitor the performance and success of the partner ecosystem related to specific metrics. Important to have the ability to shift priorities, take risks and think outside of the box to deliver on key criteria
