Key Responsibilities & Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will be a specialist educator with a degree in Biology or a related life science , holding QTS and having proven success teaching across all key stages.
In this full-time role, you will:
- Instruction & Attainment: Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in Biology to students from Key Stage 3 through to A-Level , ensuring outstanding results in public examinations.
- Practical Excellence: Plan and lead practical laboratory sessions safely and effectively, fostering essential inquiry and experimental skills.
- Curriculum Expertise: Confidently teach core biological concepts, including cell biology, genetics, ecology, and human physiology.
- Collaboration: Contribute actively to the wider Science department, sharing best practices, developing resources, and supporting cross-curricular initiatives.
