With our expert knowledge, we constantly push boundaries and fight tirelessly for justice on behalf of our clients. At Thompsons, you will find more than just a job - you will find a career where you can truly make a difference.
We are inviting applications to join our Mass Litigation Team. This dedicated team handles a broad spectrum of complex legal cases, offering exposure to a diverse range of litigation matters. This includes claims related to personal injury, financial loss, employer's liability, product liability, data breaches, and breach of contract disputes. This is an excellent opportunity for those looking to assist the legal team on impactful cases across multiple sectors.
What the role involves:
· Issuing correspondence, including group broadcasts, to clients under the guidance of a supervisor.
· Contacting clients by telephone to obtain or communicate information.
· Collating and managing data in Excel format.
· Liaising with our Legal Enquiries Team and case handlers regarding claims.

At Thompsons, we prioritise your wellbeing. Our employee assistance and wellness programme provides support to help you succeed, both professionally and personally. In addition to working in a stimulating environment, we offer:
- A competitive salary, reflective of your experience
- Excellent pension scheme
- Hybrid working options – two days in the office alongside your team and three at home
- Flexible working hours – this allows for flexible start and finish times around core working hours, giving greater flexibility in managing your work-life balance.
- Flexi-time – work seven additional hours in one month, which can then be taken as time off in the following month, offering flexibility in managing workloads and personal commitments.
- Ongoing training and development opportunities
- Engaging social and charitable experiences
Who we're looking for:
· You must be able to commute to our Glasgow.
· Experience working in a legal or office environment would be beneficial.
· Strong IT literacy, with confidence in using Excel and the ability to move comfortably between case management and file sharing platforms, is essential. Please note as part of the interview process, you will be asked to complete a short typing exercise and a practical task in Microsoft Excel. These are designed simply to give you the chance to demonstrate your core skills and to help us understand how best to support your development in the role if successful.
· Confidence in communicating with clients and other professionals by telephone and email is essential.
We are seeking an organised, adaptable individual with strong communication and IT skills, who is keen to build experience in a fast-paced legal environment. If this sounds like you, we encourage you to apply and become a valued part of our team.
Closing Date : 22nd September 2025. Please note that interviews may be conducted prior to the closing date should suitable applications be received. Early submission is therefore encouraged.
