Hiring Temporary part-time Nanny in Islington, Job ID J224CC

A lovely family based in Islington, London, is seeking an experienced Part-time Nanny to support their 13-year-old daughter. The role is fixed-term and will run from 26 August to 20 September 2026.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of childcare experience and experience supporting teenagers with autism. Someone calm, patient, warm, and reassuring would be well suited to the role.

The nanny will provide general support for the daughter, help establish and maintain routines, and assist her with calming and emotional regulation when needed. The role will also include helping Mum with cooking for the family when required.

The family has two cats, but no pet care will be required.

A valid first aid certification is required for this role.

Working hours: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, totalling 6 hours per week.

Duties include:

• supporting a 13-year-old girl with autism
• providing calm and reassuring support
• helping establish and maintain daily routines
• assisting with emotional regulation when needed providing general childcare support helping Mum with family cooking when required working closely with the family to provide consistent support

The family is looking for someone who can start on 26 August 2026. The position will run until 20 September 2026.
