 We are looking for a Band 6 Locum Dietitian to join the Adult Dietetics Team at the Wembley Centre for Health & Care. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and motivated dietitian to work in a community-based setting, providing expert nutrition and dietetic advice to adults with a range of long-term conditions, including diabetes, coeliac disease, and obesity. You will be working predominantly in outpatient clinics, as well as providing virtual consultations and some domiciliary visits, including to nursing homes. 
 Responsibilities: 
 In this role, you will provide expert dietetic advice and intervention to adult patients, either face-to-face in outpatient clinics, via telephone consultations, or through domiciliary visits. Your caseload will include patients with long-term conditions such as diabetes, obesity, coeliac disease, and those requiring nutrition support (e.g., food-first approaches or oral nutritional supplements). You will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing personalized dietary plans, and providing ongoing support to help patients manage their conditions. You will also work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and improve patient outcomes. Experience with EMIS is an advantage, as it may be used for documentation and patient management. 
Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree or postgraduate diploma in Nutrition & Dietetics
- HCPC registration (Health & Care Professions Council)
- Proven experience providing dietetic advice to adults in a clinical or community setting
- Experience with outpatient clinics and providing virtual consultations (telephone-based)
- Previous use of EMIS is desirable
- Knowledge and experience in managing patients with long-term conditions (e.g., diabetes, obesity) and providing nutrition support
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work autonomously and manage a caseload effectively
- Ability to provide domiciliary visits (including to nursing homes) as part of the role.
