Operational Delivery Assistant
As an Operational Delivery Assistant , you’ll play a hands-on, vital role in bringing new car parks to life across our nationwide estate. From transforming sites from the ground up to enhancing and closing existing locations, you’ll be at the heart of our operational delivery team. Working closely with the National Operational Delivery Manager and Deputy, you’ll combine practical skills, precision, and pace to ensure every site is fully prepared, compliant, and ready to go live.
We are seeking a practical, hands-on individual from a construction or trades background who thrives in a fast-paced, field-based environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality, tangible results. This is a dynamic role where no two days are the same, and where your work will directly shape and maintain our estate while upholding the highest brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct site assessments with the National Operational Delivery Manager/Deputy to validate car park acquisitions (e.g. bay counts, required works) and report findings.
Travel nationwide to support car park openings, maintenance, and closures, including occasional overnight stays.
Carry out general maintenance and groundworks (e.g. landscaping, painting, pressure washing, pothole repairs, vegetation clearance).
Install and maintain site infrastructure such as signage, fencing, bay markings, speed humps, and basic brickwork.
Operate tools, vehicles, and light/heavy equipment safely and effectively to complete site works.
Perform regular health & safety checks, complete risk assessments, and report hazards, near misses, and incidents.
Coordinate with third-party suppliers to ensure timely delivery and on-site handling of materials.
Maintain clear communication with management, providing updates on site progress while ensuring compliance with company policies, PPE, and safety standards.
Skills and Experience
Strong practical experience using hand and power tools (e.g. drills, breakers, saws, wacker plates) in a construction, maintenance, or trade environment.
Proven ability to carry out physical site work, including groundworks, installations, and general labouring tasks.
Experience operating plant, machinery, or site vehicles safely and efficiently.
Good understanding of construction/site processes, including assembly, installation, and material handling.
Physically fit and capable of lifting, carrying, and working with heavy materials daily.
Solid awareness of health & safety practices on-site, including safe use of equipment and PPE compliance.
Ability to work independently on-site or as part of a team to deliver projects to deadlines.
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide for site-based work with flexible hours.
