THE ROLE
A Senior Associate - Corporate is sought to join the national, market-leading Corporate group.
You will be an ambitious, experienced and entrepreneurial Corporate Solicitor, and will enjoy undertaking a broad mix of corporate work including M&A, corporate finance, private equity and venture capital, fundraising, shareholder agreements and joint ventures, as well as general corporate advisory work.
You will be advising clients ranging from start-ups and spinouts, through to substantial companies, management teams and institutions on a broad range of corporate issues and transactions. Much of your work will have an international aspect.
ABOUT YOU
A Corporate solicitor with 4pqe+ gained in a City, national or regional firm, you will have a good background in transactional work and be able to demonstrate both working as part of a team on transactions, and/or managing transactions largely unsupervised.
You will also be able to demonstrate an understanding of, and an interest in, helping to grow a team and a practice.
This will provide plenty of opportunity for your career to grow and develop with the office, supported by an ambitious and progressive law firm.
Given the responsibilities of this role, it's likely that you will have:
Strong experience in M&A work
Experience with investment rounds, VC funds and VC backed businesses would be beneficial
An interest in a wide variety of corporate work
Willingness to initiate and participate in marketing and business development activities
