International Payroll Specialist

- £45,000 - £55,000 Job Title: International Payroll Specialist Location: Hammersmith Hybrid: 3 days in office, 2 WFH Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 Contract: Full-Time, PermanentAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive and detail-focused Payroll Specialist to join a busy international payroll team. You’ll be involved in processing complex payrolls across multiple EMEA countries, supporting monthly payroll operations, and contributing to ongoing system implementation and improvement projects.This is an ideal role for someone with international payroll exposure wanting to develop their skills. Key Responsibilities
- Support end-to-end monthly payroll processing across multiple EMEA entities
- Partner with HR to ensure all monthly updates and employee changes are captured
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and current payroll legislation, including pension auto-enrolment
- Liaise with third-party payroll providers to ensure timely and accurate submissions
- Reconcile payroll data, producing gross-to-net analysis and payment breakdowns for approval
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll liabilities, including HMRC and pension contributions
- Respond to employee and vendor queries with a strong focus on service and resolution
- Assist with year-end processes such as P11D reporting
- Support payroll system implementation (Workday Payroll UK) and other payroll-related projects
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the payroll function
- 2+ years of hands-on payroll experience, ideally across multiple countries (experience with Germany and Italy highly desirable)
- Strong working knowledge of payroll processes, statutory requirements, and compliance
- Able to work independently and manage priorities to meet tight deadlines
- Experience with Workday Payroll and ADP Celergo is advantageous
- Strong Excel skills and confidence working with payroll data
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
