As a Mobile Vehicle Technician in our Service, Maintenance & Repair (SMR) division, you will play a crucial role in delivering planned, structured repair and servicing directly to our members. This is not your typical roadside rescue role; instead, you will work from a clear digital schedule, focusing on quality work without the unpredictability of emergency callouts.

Your day will begin with a pre-booked schedule, allowing you to prepare for each job. Your responsibilities will include:

• Routine servicing
• Diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment
• In-depth repairs typically performed in a workshop
• Providing member advice and recommendations based on inspections
• Conducting vehicle safety checks aligned with our standards

With a fully equipped RAC van, fuel card, uniform, and tool set at your disposal, you will have everything you need to perform your job effectively.

What You’ll Need

• Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a vehicle technician working on light vehicles
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points
