Demand Planning Lead
About Us:
Hi there 👋 We’re Wild. We’re on a mission to remove single-use plastic from the bathroom, armed with our refillable, natural and scent-sational deodorants, body wash, haircare and lip balm – and we’ve only just started. We launched in 2020 and as a high-growth company, we’re already one of Europe’s fastest-growing start-ups 🚀 So, fancy coming along for the ride?😃
As we continue to scale across retail and international markets, we're looking for a Global Demand Planning Lead to take full ownership of our retail demand planning process and build the infrastructure we need to support our growth.
In this role you’ll partner with Retail, Supply Chain, Finance, and Product teams to deliver world-class forecast accuracy, reduce risk, and align our demand signals with the pace of our brand growth. You will also manage our Demand Planning Manager.
This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role, perfect for someone ready to step up and shape how we plan for growth - with visibility across the business and the opportunity to influence Wild’s future demand planning architecture.
🚀 Some of your responsibilities:
- Own the Global S&OP Forecasting Process: Design, lead, and evolve our global demand planning cycle - from long-term strategic planning to monthly forecast cycles - ensuring alignment with key business milestones and product launches.
- Drive Forecast Accuracy & KPI Ownership: Establish, track, and continuously improve forecasting KPIs (bias, accuracy, forecast value add). Champion data-driven decision-making across the business.
- Be the Strategic Link Across Teams: Act as the key connector between Commercial, Supply Chain, and Finance to ensure a consistent and aligned view of expected demand across all time horizons.
- Lead Scenario & Risk Planning: Develop planning models and scenario tools that help the business anticipate volatility, identify risks, and prepare contingencies for market shifts.
- Own Demand Planning Tools & Insights: Build and refine forecasting tools (in Excel/Google Sheets, ERP, or BI systems) to surface insights, improve visibility, and support inventory investment decisions.
- Represent Demand Planning Across the Business: Lead monthly planning reviews with senior stakeholders. Be the voice of demand in supply chain discussions, commercial planning meetings, and cross-functional forums. As the business scales, contribute to building out a best-in-class planning function.
- Team Management & Support: Provide leadership and guidance to our Demand Planning Manager, stepping in to oversee key projects and day-to-day activities as needed.
🚀 What we need from you:
Please note that we welcome applications from candidates who may not hit every single bullet point on the lists below - if you’re passionate about our mission and feel you have relevant skills and experiences to add value to this role, please apply!
- 6+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain, ideally in FMCG/CPG or a high-growth environment
- Proven track record of owning and evolving a demand planning function across multi-channel or multi-region operations
- Advanced analytical skills and confidence using Excel/Google Sheets and BI tools; ERP or planning system experience a plus
- Strong commercial acumen - able to connect data with business outcomes and influence stock and investment decisions
- Collaborative leadership style with strong communication skills; experience managing or mentoring others is a bonus
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and challenge constructively
- Passionate about sustainability and excited to build something impactful in a fast-moving, mission-driven environment
⚡️ What you’ll get from us:
- 25 days holidays + bank holidays + 9 extra remote working days
- Hybrid working, 3 days a week in our shiny new London office
- 4% Company Pension
- Mental well-being support through Spill
- Private healthcare through Vitality
- Weekly early finishes and social events
- Annual L&D budget
