We are seeking an enthusiastic Teacher of Science to join an independent school in Barnet from January 2027.
This is an opportunity for a passionate educator who can deliver stimulating lessons, encourage scientific curiosity and help pupils develop their knowledge, practical skills and confidence.
Key Responsibilities
Planning and delivering engaging Science lessons.
Developing pupils’ scientific knowledge and investigative skills.
Supporting practical activities and safe laboratory practice where required.
Assessing progress and providing constructive feedback.
Encouraging critical thinking and independent learning.
What We’re Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Strong subject knowledge in Science.
Effective classroom management and lesson-planning skills.
A commitment to high standards of teaching and learning.
The ability to motivate pupils and work collaboratively with colleagues.
