Proejct Manager

OCS Recruitment Ltd
Bromley, Greater London
OCS are currently working with a highly established specialist construction contractor with an excellent reputation across reinforced concrete frames, groundworks, basements, remediation and civil engineering.

Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of work, they are looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to take responsibility for the successful delivery of a £4m RC Frame project in South East London.

The Role
As Project Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of the project, working closely with the commercial, engineering and site teams to ensure the scheme is delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards. Your responsibilities will include:

* Taking overall responsibility for the delivery of the £4m RC Frame project

* Managing the project from mobilisation through to completion

* Leading the site and project team

* Managing programme, sequencing and project delivery

* Coordinating with the client, main contractor, consultants and supply chain

* Managing subcontractors and specialist packages

* Ensuring works are delivered in line with programme and project requirements

* Monitoring project costs and working closely with the commercial team

* Managing quality and ensuring works meet specification

* Ensuring Health & Safety standards are maintained throughout the project

* Reviewing RAMS, ITPs and project documentation

* Attending client and progress meetings

* Identifying and resolving technical and programme issues

* Managing project risks and implementing mitigation strategies

* Providing regular project updates to senior management

* Driving the project through to successful completion and handover

Ideally, you will have:

* Proven experience managing RC Frame projects

* Experience delivering projects in the £3m–£10m+ range

* Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete construction

* Experience managing subcontractors and site teams

* Strong programme and project management skills

* Excellent understanding of construction sequencing

* Good commercial awareness

* Strong client and stakeholder management skills

* Excellent communication and leadership abilities

* Relevant construction qualifications

* A strong understanding of Health & Safety and quality requirements

Why Consider This Opportunity?

* This is a genuine opportunity to take full project-level responsibility for a £4m RC Frame scheme, rather than joining a business in a supporting project management position.

* The role will give the successful candidate the opportunity to work closely with senior management while having significant influence over the programme, site team, subcontractors and overall project delivery
