The Role – Russell Group Graduate Teaching Assistant
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering 1:1 and small group interventions to support learners in core subjects.
- Assisting with lesson planning, resource creation, and classroom organisation .
- Supporting students with GCSE preparation , including revision strategies and academic mentoring.
- Working in collaboration with SEN and EAL teams to ensure tailored support for all learners.
- Encouraging positive student engagement, behaviour, and academic progress.
- Taking part in extracurricular activities , revision sessions, or subject clubs.
Who We’re Looking For – Russell Group Graduate Teaching Assistant
This role is best suited to graduates who:
- Hold a 2:1 or above from a Russell Group university in a core subject such as Maths, English, or Science .
- Are academically strong, organised, and passionate about education.
- Possess excellent communication skills and a proactive, professional attitude .
- Have a genuine interest in teaching or working in the education sector.
- Feel confident working with secondary-aged pupils and are eager to make a difference.
- Have prior experience in tutoring, mentoring, or working with young people (beneficial but not essential).
