ARC Controller

Are you alert, reliable, and calm under pressure? We are looking for a vigilant and detail-oriented Alarm Receiving Centre Controller to join our security monitoring team. You'll play a vital role in ensuring the safety of people and property by responding swiftly and effectively to alarms and incidents.

As an ARC Controller, you’ll monitor a variety of alarm systems from residential and commercial sites. You'll be the crucial link between our clients and emergency services, providing rapid and accurate responses to potential security breaches or emergencies

What can you bring to Banham?

• Previous experience in a security control room or similar environment (preferred)
• SIA CCTV Licence (desirable or required depending on jurisdiction)
• Strong communication skills and clear telephone manner
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions
• Computer literacy and familiarity with alarm or monitoring systems

Responsibilities:

• Monitor intruder, fire, CCTV, and panic alarms via advanced monitoring systems
• Respond to activations according to set procedures and escalation protocols
• Contact emergency services, keyholders, or patrol teams as required
• Accurately log all incidents and maintain detailed records
• Ensure systems are functioning and report faults or maintenance issues
• Work as part of a 24/7 shift team including nights, weekends, and holidays
