The role

The firm is seeking to hire an Employment Partner to join their vibrant office based in the heart of the West End of London.

• The firm currently has an Employment Department of two made up of a consultant and an associate. The firm are looking to recruit a partner to assume the role of Head of Department. The department is currently busy and the firm are seeking an individual to come in and drive the department into the future, and with that it is felt that the department has good growth potential for the future.
• You will lead the department working closely with the Head of Corporate Commercial. You will get involved in business development, strategy and will also mentor, supervise and develop the junior in the team. You will have good support but also the autonomy to shape the department and put your stamp on it.
• You will deal with a mix of both claimant and respondent work, covering both contentious and non-contentious work.
• You will be an Employment Solicitor with at least 8 years PQE (there is no upper limit on the amount of experience)
• Package and salary are competitive and negotiable depending on your level of experience
