History teacher- Amazing school in Westminster- ASAP start

Responsibilities

• Create engaging and well-structured lesson plans that cater to the diverse learning needs of students
• Deliver effective and stimulating history lessons, using a variety of teaching techniques and resources
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment, promoting mutual respect and tolerance among students
• Implement assessments and provide constructive feedback to students to support their academic growth
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement the school's history curriculum
• Communicate and build positive relationships with parents, keeping them informed of their child's progress
• Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in History or a relevant field
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification
• Proven experience teaching history to primary/secondary school students
• Excellent knowledge of the history curriculum and ability to design engaging lessons
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents
• Passion for teaching history and inspiring young minds
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities
• Demonstrate strong organizational and time-management skills
