UK Client Marketing Manager
We’re partnering with a leading global asset manager seeking an experienced UK Client Marketing Manager to join their London-based team on an initial 12 month day rate contract basis with a potential to go permanent. This is a rare opportunity to shape and drive content strategy for the UK market at a time of significant business growth and brand development.
Sitting within the UK Client Marketing team, this role will work closely with distribution, investment communications, product marketing, and global marketing colleagues to produce targeted, engaging content across multiple client segments – particularly wealth, pension funds and insurance. Strong knowledge of at least two of these areas is essential.
The successful candidate will be involved in:
- Developing and executing a content strategy aligned to UK marketing and sales goals, balancing ‘always-on’ brand activity with tactical segment-led initiatives.
- Creating, tailoring and repurposing content for key UK audiences across digital, video, events, and written formats – including thought leadership, product content and campaign assets.
- Collaborating with distribution leads and segment heads to curate timely and relevant materials for campaigns, client meetings and strategic presentations.
- Working with internal content teams (including product and investment communications) to ensure UK needs are incorporated into editorial planning and output.
- Supporting in-region initiatives by producing content aligned to fund manager visits, strategic events and priority themes.
- Owning the UK website content in partnership with the global digital team – ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with broader objectives.
- Driving innovation in content delivery, improving client engagement through multimedia and more interactive formats.
- Contributing to proprietary event support, awards submissions, and ad hoc strategic initiatives.
- Monitoring and analysing content performance in collaboration with analytics teams, sharing insights and optimising strategy as needed.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong channel marketing or content strategy experience within asset management or financial services.
- Strong understanding of at least two of the following UK client segments: wealth, pension funds, insurance (wealth preferred).
- Experience developing content across both public and private market strategies.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally with distribution, marketing, product and investment teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high level of attention to detail and editorial quality.
- Creative mindset with a data-driven approach to measuring impact and optimising future output.
- Familiarity with content tools (e.g. Workfront, Admaster) is a plus.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
