Pay: 3,500 - 4,500 per month
Veritas Education is delighted to be working in partnership with a welcoming, community-focused primary school in Lewisham to recruit an enthusiastic and committed Primary Class Teacher for an Easter 2026 start.
This OFSTED-rated 'Good' school is well known for its inclusive ethos, creative curriculum, and strong commitment to ensuring every pupil achieves both academically and personally. The successful candidate will take full responsibility for a class, delivering engaging and high-quality lessons that foster curiosity, independence, and a love of learning.
This role would suit a reflective and motivated teacher who enjoys creating inspiring learning experiences, building strong relationships with pupils and families, and contributing to a supportive and forward-thinking school environment.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
Experience teaching in a primary school setting (ECTs are encouraged to apply)
A strong understanding of the primary curriculum and assessment frameworks
Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to differentiate effectively
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons across the primary curriculum
Create a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment
Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress to inform teaching
Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community
