Drama Teacher – Lambeth – Unleash Potential, Ignite the Stage! An Outstanding secondary school in Lambeth is looking for a Drama Teacher – a passionate, dynamic individual to bring the magic of theatre to life for their students. This is more than just a teaching role; it's an opportunity to build confidence, foster creativity, and empower young voices. Directing the Future: This full-time, permanent Drama Teacher position (paid on the MPS/UPS scale) offers the chance to:
- Deliver inspiring and engaging Drama lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with potential for Key Stage 5).
- Explore a range of dramatic techniques, styles, and genres, from Shakespeare to contemporary theatre.
- Develop students' acting, improvisation, and performance skills.
- Guide students in creating and staging their own work (desirable).
- Foster teamwork, communication, and self-expression.
- Contribute to a vibrant and successful Performing Arts department.
- Teach at an Outstanding school.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- A degree in Drama, Theatre Studies, or a related field.
- Proven experience teaching Drama at the secondary level.
- A passion for theatre and the ability to share that passion with students.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- A passion to be a Drama Teacher
