Finance Assistant
Finance Assistant
The Finance Assistant will support the finance team in maintaining accurate financial records processing
transactions and assisting with month-end and year-end reporting This role is essential for ensuring the smooth
operation of the companys financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Process supplier invoices credit notes and payments accurately and on time Reconcile bank statements and company accounts.
- Assist with preparation of monthly management accounts
- Assist with maintaining purchase and sales ledgers.
- Handle petty cash and expense claims.
- Respond to internal and external queries regarding accounts
- Assist in preparing financial reports for audits.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards

What we expect from you in return:
- Education: AAT Level 2/3 or equivalent (or studying towards)
- Experience: Previous experience in an accounting or finance role preferred
- Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software (Sage Procure Wizard)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
