HR Manager | Join a Leading School | Hackney
A leading secondary school in Hackney is seeking an experienced HR Manager to join its senior leadership support team on a full-time, permanent basis from September 2026.

You'll work alongside experienced leaders to create an outstanding employee experience while ensuring HR operations run smoothly and efficiently.
The Role
You'll oversee the school's HR function, balancing strategic leadership with operational excellence.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing recruitment and onboarding
Leading employee relations and HR casework
Supporting performance management and workforce planning
Maintaining HR policies and statutory compliance
Managing contracts, payroll changes, and HR systems
Delivering staff wellbeing and retention initiatives
Providing expert HR advice to school leaders

The Successful Candidate
You'll have excellent employment law knowledge, experience managing complex HR matters, and the confidence to influence decision-making at senior leadership level.
