Interim Promotions Manager
Client: Major Public Sector organisation
Location: London (hybrid - 3 days onsite)
Contract: 6 months (with potential extension)
Rate: £440 per day (Umbrella, Inside IR35)
A high-profile public sector organisation is seeking a Promotions Manager to join a busy HR function, delivering end-to-end promotion campaigns across a large, complex workforce.
The Role:
This is a fast-paced, project-driven role where organisation, stakeholder management, and attention to detail are critical. You'll act as the central point of coordination, ensuring promotion processes run smoothly, fairly, and on time.
- Leading and coordinating promotion campaigns from planning through to delivery
- Managing timelines and milestones using project management tools
- Liaising with external suppliers and assessment providers to ensure delivery standards are met
- Supporting and attending assessment centres, acting as a key frontline contact
- Managing exams and processes in partnership with external bodies
- Handling queries, escalations, and sensitive conversations with professionalism
- Working collaboratively across a multi-project team environment
Requirements:
- Strong experience in project coordination, HR operations, or recruitment delivery
- Exceptional organisation and time management skills
- Confident communicator with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders
- Proven ability to work under pressure and manage competing deadlines
- High level of customer service and professionalism
- Strong Excel skills (essential)
- Experience with project tools (e.g. MS Project or similar)
- Advantageous would be any experience within the public sector or regulated environments
