HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?

The primary objective of this role is to protect and enhance the reputation of the Group’s Maisons by delivering strategic counsel and hands-on support during high-impact communications challenges. Reporting to the Head of Critical Communications, the role serves as a trusted resource to the Group’s 25+ brands, helping to anticipate and mitigate reputational risks while ensuring swift, thoughtful response strategies and messaging in critical moments.

  • Provide strategic guidance and crisis communications support during high-stakes situations to protect and strengthen the reputation of the Group’s Maisons.
  • Support the Head of Critical Communications in advising Maison leadership on external communications, including marketing campaigns, media strategy, crisis management, talent partnerships, exhibitions, and product.
  • Support rapid response efforts during reputational incidents, including strategy development and messaging.
  • Conduct global due diligence and background checks across platforms ( e.g ., traditional media, social media) on external partners, talent, and affiliations to mitigate reputational risk.
  • Monitor traditional and social media to identify emerging issues or trends, and recommend proactive responses.
  • Support media trainings for spokespeople ahead of key interviews, events, and public appearances.
  • Create strategic presentations and memos to educate internal stakeholders on reputational risks, trends, and available critical communications services.
  • Coordinate with external reputation agencies to ensure timely and effective response during critical incidents.
  • Manage and maintain the department’s project management platform (Monday.com) to carefully document issues, visibility, and execution.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with communications, marketing, legal, HR, and sustainability teams on risk mitigation strategies.
  • Contribute to long-term projects, such as scenario planning and crisis preparedness, incorporating best practices and post-incident learnings.

HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?

  • Previous professional strategic communications experience, preferably in an agency or multi-brand environment (luxury industry preferred but not required).
  • Proven ability to advise senior stakeholders with clarity and confidence during high-pressure situations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in French or German is a plus.
  • Strong organisational skills and a proactive mindset; self-starter with a collaborative attitude and high level of accountability.
  • Experience developing strategic monitoring reports drawing on key insights and signs of escalation/de-escalation leveraging social listening tools.
  • Ability to handle multiple fast-moving priorities and deliver high-quality outputs under pressure.
  • Skilled at building trust across departments and cultures while driving consensus and alignment.
  • High attention to detail with a critical eye for reputational nuance and brand voice alignment.
  • Experience using project management tools ( e.g ., Monday.com) and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Availability for 24/7 incident and crisis response.
