Technical Manager
- Location: West London

- Salary: Up to £50,000 Per Annum
- Ensure product quality, safety, and legal compliance by implementing relevant legal and corporate requirements.
- Manage and supervise the Quality team's activities to meet buying and commercial schedules.
- Maintain and update the Quality Management System.
- Lead the HACCP team, review and maintain the HACCP plan and risk assessments.
- Ensure accuracy of information recorded in our database, meeting policy, legal, and customer requirements.
- Conduct supplier assessments and audits, including new supplier approvals and scheduled audits.
- Carry out internal audits and work with depot teams in the UK to maintain third-party accreditation.
- Coordinate product developments with the Product and Sourcing teams, signing off on specifications and labels.
- Ensure all relevant staff receive appropriate food safety training.
- Complete reports and handle ad-hoc requirements as requested by the business.
- Minimum recognised Degree in a food-related discipline with 3-4 years' experience in a similar role.
- Certifications: Minimum of HACCP and Food Safety Level 3, Internal Auditor, Lead Auditor.
- Experience working with specification systems.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and computer literacy.
- Self-motivated with good attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
