Retail Assistant

Claridge’s has a famous all-day dining and Afternoon Tea restaurant the ‘Foyer & Reading Room’, L’Epicerie that offers a culinary theatre of the kitchen, and three bars: Claridge’s Bar, the intimate Fumoir and effortlessly elegant Painter’s Room.

As a Retail Assistant, you will be responsible for:
- Deliver "best in class" customer service to help grow the customer base.
- Support the team to ensure the best visual standards within the store to create an exciting environment for customers and team.
- Keep up to date with product knowledge to ensure you are offering the best advice to customers.
- Enhance the consumer experience in a luxury hotel retail environment
- Work closely with the team to ensure the boutique is well stocked and customer feedback is passed onto the wider team.
Successful candidates for our Retail Assistant opportunity will:

- Have a keen interest in upcoming trends, especially in the luxury market.
- Have excellent organisational skills, ability to multitask, prioritise efficiently and achieve deadlines.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Have experience in a luxury Retail Environment.
- Be fluent in English language
- Provide intuitive service. You will listen to and understand our customers’ needs and create an exceptional service experience that results in lasting memories.
- Be motivated and creative.
- Have a passion for luxury and quality products, be a team player who is who is keen to learn and be challenged.
- Be available to work weekdays. weekends as well as some public holidays.
- Have experience with Shopify and Excel. Knowledge of Micros and Adaco is advantageous.
- Additional language skills are a bonus
