Role Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and organised individual to support the day-to-day operations of the press office at Space NK. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a broad range of PR activities, including administrative support, event coordination, and press engagement.
You will work collaboratively with colleagues across PR, marketing, and category teams, contributing to the smooth running of press office activity. This role offers valuable exposure to the beauty PR industry and the opportunity to develop practical skills within a dynamic retail environment.
An interest in beauty and awareness of Space NK and its brand portfolio will be beneficial. We welcome applicants who are keen to learn, take initiative, and build a career in PR.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain team diaries, including scheduling key launches and events
Liaise with category and marketing teams to ensure PR activities are aligned with wider business updates
Coordinate mailers and PR send-outs, supporting activity to secure media coverage
Maintain and update press and mailing lists
Support PR events, including logistics and guest coordination
Assist with press appointments in collaboration with the wider team
Organise and maintain the PR cupboard and sample management
Support outreach to influencers, brands, and media contacts
Monitor and report on press coverage, alongside ad hoc internal reporting
Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience:
Previous experience in a PR or related role is advantageous but not required
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Good organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
Confidence working both independently and as part of a team
Willingness to learn and develop within a fast-paced environment
