Head of HFT

Founded in 2018, Fasanara Digital is the crypto arm of Fasanara Capital FCA-authorised investment firm managing USD 4.5 billion. Fasanara Digital is exclusively focused on digital assets and is one of the largest, longest running and best performing market neutral funds in the space. We pursue a rigorous, technologically driven, scientific approach to trading.

We are looking for a team-lead (10+ years' experience) specialising in market-making within crypto centralized exchanges. Leveraging your strong track-record and experiences in building/managing a team, you can be the play maker in building out our market-making business.

Responsibilities:  

• Build a strong team around you and build out a successful market-making business
• Own books with reasonable sizes and share the success with the team in P&L
• Streamline execution for both other internal strategies in the team as well as independent portfolio managers
• Research to discover and improve short-term alphas with horizons ranging from milliseconds to seconds
• Apply state-of-art machine learning and programming languages to convert alpha ideas into strategies

Requirements

• 10+ years’ experience in industry, with recent strong track records in crypto market-making
• Leadership and entrepreneurship to manage & grow a team around you
• Strong market-oriented mindset with the desire to conduct thorough scientific research
• Experience using quantitative techniques to solve complex data-intensive problems 
• Strong skills in Python, SQL and working knowledge of C++/Java
• Hands on experience with large volumes of time-series data – primarily in SQL
• Attention to details with a good sense of priority
