A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a family run business established as a UK wide Structural Steel specialist. They specialize in the fabrication of reinforcing and structural steel in Northern Ireland.

They offer a wide range of services to various sectors within the industry including industrial, commercial, residential, agricultural and pre cast. Due to continued expansion and a heavy workload, they are now looking for an experienced Site Foreman to join the team on site in Hammersmith, London.

The ideal candidate will have a wealth of experience within the structural steelwork industry and have a proven track record working on multi-storey commercial projects.

Responsibility & Duties

An experienced Site foreman with a structural steel background to be responsible for the overall management and control of the site including planning, installation management of sub-contractors and liaising with main contractor management team

Quality management ISO 9001:2008

Manage the maintenance and effective use of all machinery and equipment to ensure the most efficient and highest quality work methods are achieved.

Strict implementation of Health & Safety systems

Capable of marking out on site for fixtures and placements

Must be able to motivate, coach and develop team members for high performance

Computerized working including cutting lists/delivery notes etc.

Manage all site activities daily

Liaise with main contractor project manager/managing director to ascertain weekly requirements/changes.

Hold weekly production/contracts meeting with project manager/managing director and all sales staff to provide an update of all jobs/delivery schedules etc.

Ensure works are completed within set timescales and delivery dates are met

Quality management ISO 9001:2008, ensuring the project is produced within the specification and to an expected quality level

Ensure time sheets are accurately completed, collected weekly and signed off.
