Year 4 Teacher - Exceptional Primary School in Hackney

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Year 4 Class Teacher to join our inclusive and high-achieving primary school in Hackney, East London, from January 2026. This is a permanent position, open to full-time and part-time applicants, with potential for a TLR for subject or phase leadership for the right candidate.

The Role
Position: Year 4 Class Teacher
Location: Hackney, East London
Start Date: January 2026
Contract: Permanent – Full-Time or Part-Time Considered
TLR: Available for Subject or Phase Leadership (for the right candidate)
As our Year 4 Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging and creative lessons that inspire curiosity and deepen understanding
- Provide clear assessment and feedback to support all pupils in achieving their potential
- Foster a classroom culture of respect, inclusion, and high expectations
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues to ensure consistency and shared best practice
- (If applicable) Lead a subject or phase area as part of a TLR opportunity
What We’re Looking For
We welcome applications from teachers who:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 4
- Are committed to delivering high-quality, inclusive teaching and learning
- Possess strong organisational and communication skills
- Are reflective, enthusiastic, and eager to contribute to school life
- Are open to taking on subject or phase leadership responsibilities (if seeking a TLR)
