Role Information

The school is seeking to appoint a motivated and knowledgeable Business Studies Teacher to join a thriving and forward-thinking department. You will teach Business Studies across KS3 and KS4, with the opportunity to teach KS5 for a suitably experienced candidate.

The role involves delivering engaging and relevant lessons that develop students’ understanding of enterprise, finance, marketing, and the wider business environment. You will support students through coursework and exam preparation, helping them to build analytical skills, commercial awareness, and confidence in applying theory to real-world contexts. You will also contribute to curriculum planning, assessment development, and enrichment opportunities such as enterprise projects, business competitions, or careers-focused activities.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree
• Experience teaching Business Studies at secondary level
• Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with GCSE specifications (A Level desirable)
• Ability to deliver engaging, real-world focused lessons
• Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills
• Commitment to inclusive teaching and student achievement
