Asset Manager
Our client is a dynamic and fast-growing organisation within the Build-to-Rent (BTR) sector, widely regarded as one of the most exciting segments of the UK real estate market. With a growing national footprint and a strong pipeline of developments across major towns and cities, the business is backed by a well-established private equity group and has formed strategic partnerships with leading institutional investors.
They are seeking an experienced and driven Asset Manager to support the optimisation and performance of a growing UK portfolio. This role offers an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking team that spans the full property lifecycle-from development to operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day asset management of both operational and development assets, analysing performance against business plans and recommending initiatives to enhance income, valuation, and returns.
- Prepare detailed internal and external reports, offering insight and commentary on key operational and financial metrics.
- Take a leading role in delivering the company's ESG strategy, including submissions for industry accreditations such as GRESB and BREEAM.
- Develop and manage annual budgets, working cross-functionally to identify key drivers of financial variance and mitigate risk.
- Manage supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, monitoring KPIs, and ensuring high standards of service delivery.
- Assist in the management of a small commercial property portfolio.
- Monitor industry trends and developments, using market insights to inform and improve asset performance.
Key Requirements
- A relevant undergraduate degree; postgraduate qualifications are advantageous.
- A strong analytical mindset and ability to interpret financial and operational data.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experienced in preparing financial reports and models.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
- Solid knowledge of real estate investment principles and relevant legislation.
- A collaborative team player with a proactive approach and strong work ethic.
- Prior experience in investment modelling is desirable but not essential.
This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated individual looking to develop their career within a rapidly expanding sector. If you meet the criteria and are keen to be part of a progressive and collaborative environment, we encourage you to apply online today.
