The Role: As a Full-Time Permanent High Level Teaching Assistant at our school, you will play a crucial role in supporting teaching and learning across the school. Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all students.
- Providing targeted support and intervention to students, both individually and in small groups, to promote academic progress and achievement.
- Supporting the implementation of behavior management strategies and maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborating with colleagues to create and maintain effective systems for tracking student progress and assessing learning outcomes.
- Supporting the overall ethos and vision of the school and actively contributing to the wider school community.
Requirements: To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications and attributes:
- Relevant experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational support role.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents/carers.
- A passion for working with children and a commitment to promoting their well-being and academic achievement.
- Flexibility, adaptability, and a willingness to support teaching and learning across different year groups and subject areas.
- Relevant qualifications or training in education or childcare would be advantageous.
