Job Title: Career Grade Planner (Development Management)
Location: Hounslow - Hybrid - 2 days in office
Contract Type: Temporary (12 months)
Annual Salary: 21.41 - 26.13 per hour PAYE or 27.86 - 34.12 Umbrella
Working Pattern: Full Time

Key Responsibilities:
- Customer-Centric Service : Deliver an excellent, high-profile Development Management Service focused on meeting the needs of service users.
- Planning Applications : Process planning applications, manage appeals, and address customer complaints, providing expert advice to officers, councillors, and developers.
- Training & Development : Stay current with the planning system through continuous training, ensuring your skills and knowledge are top-notch.
- Stakeholder Engagement : Work collaboratively with key stakeholders to improve service quality and tackle local challenges innovatively.
- Performance Improvement : Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team and promote a positive image of Hounslow.
What We're Looking For:
- Planning Expertise : Strong knowledge of planning legislation, policies, and practises.
- Advising Skills : Ability to provide sound technical and professional advice to councillors and management.
- Project Management : Experience in leading complex applications and negotiating effectively with stakeholders.
- Discrimination Awareness : Commitment to eradicating discrimination and promoting diversity within the workplace and community.
- Communication Skills : Excellent report presentation and appeal management abilities.
