Banana Moon Day Nursery in Croydon is seeking a dedicated and passionate Babies/Teenies Room Leader / Early Years Professional to lead our baby room team and support the development of the youngest children in our care. In this role, you will provide a safe, welcoming, and stimulating environment for babies aged 0-24 months, ensuring their emotional, social, and physical development is nurtured. As a Baby Room Leader / Early Years Professional, you will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality early education and care, leading your team with enthusiasm, and collaborating with parents to support each child’s individual needs. Salary: £30,000 - £33,000 depending on experience Requirements Lead the baby room team to deliver exceptional care and early years educationPlan and implement developmentally appropriate activities tailored for infantsPromote the well-being and safety of all children in the baby roomBuild positive relationships with children, parents, and colleaguesSupport and mentor team members for continuous professional growthEnsure compliance with relevant regulatory and nursery standardsEarly Years Professional status or equivalent Level 6 qualification in Early Childhood EducationProven experience working with babies and leading a baby room or similar settingComprehensive understanding of early childhood development and safeguardingExcellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skillsAbility to work collaboratively and foster a positive team environmentCommitment to ongoing professional development and best practiceBenefits
