Set across thoughtfully designed spaces, The Conduit pairs its vibrant community with industry-leading sustainable and ethical hospitality - offering exceptional food, drink and service in an environment that champions creativity, inclusivity and responsible business.

Our members span every sector and come from all over the world, reflecting the diversity of the society we live in. Together, they form a dynamic network committed to building a better future.

Purpose

As Bar Supervisor, you will play a pivotal hands-on leadership role in delivering exceptional bar experiences across our vibrant food & beverage spaces.

You’ll take ownership of day-to-day bar operations, leading by example on the floor while driving sales performance, service standards and team engagement. Responsible for organising service, developing talent, and maintaining impeccable quality, you’ll ensure every guest interaction reflects The Conduit’s commitment to warm hospitality, premium drinks, and thoughtful detail.

Working closely with the Director of Bars & Beverage and wider operational teams, you’ll help bring menus, moments and member experiences to life — balancing commercial awareness with genuine care for people and product. This is an opportunity for a confident, service-driven leader to shape culture, inspire teams, and make a visible impact in a dynamic, purpose-led environment.

Responsibilities

The Bar Supervisor will:
  • Lead day-to-day bar operations, ensuring smooth service, exceptional standards, and a visible, hands-on floor presence.
  • Bring beverage menus to life by supporting new concepts and ideas from the Director of Bars & Beverage, encouraging creativity from the bar team.
  • Deliver outstanding member and guest experiences by building relationships, recognising regulars, and anticipating preferences.
  • Inspire, train and develop the team through ongoing coaching, SOPs, and performance standards - driving confidence, upselling and service excellence.
  • Act as a Conduit ambassador, building strong internal relationships and representing the brand with professionalism and warmth.
  • Manage stock, EPOS accuracy and inventory controls, working closely with F&B and Purchasing to optimise par levels and beverage costs.
  • Support labour planning and financial controls, ensuring staffing levels align with business needs and all cash procedures are followed.
  • Champion Health & Safety, hygiene and compliance, maintaining immaculate FOH/BOH spaces and adhering to licensing and safety regulations.
Requirements

Bar Supervisor Skillset:
  • 3+ years’ experience in high-end, high-volume bars, restaurants or clubs, with confident floor leadership.
  • Passionate about beverages, mixology and delivering standout guest experiences.
  • A natural leader with strong people skills, able to build trust and motivate teams at every level.
  • Excellent communicator (written and verbal), calm under pressure and solutions-focused.
  • Operationally strong, with working knowledge of EPOS systems, stock control and service standards.
  • Solid understanding of Health & Safety and compliance in a hospitality environment.
  • A true team player who takes ownership, welcomes feedback, and leads with accountability.
  • Values-led and aligned with The Conduit’s mission — inclusive, professional, well-presented, and committed to creating positive impact every day.
Why Join Us?

We are on a journey to become the leader in sustainable hospitality. We are looking for the best talent, to deliver the highest standard in ethical sourcing and exceptional service.

As Bar Supervisor you’ll be joining a team who embrace diversity and go the extra mile to help each other as we create experiences that will delight and inspire at an amazing new venue in Covent Garden.
