Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons according to the national curriculum
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for students
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to develop engaging teaching strategies
- Communicate with parents and guardians to provide updates on student progress
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the field of Science education
- Ensure a safe and supportive classroom environment for all students
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Science or a related field
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Proven experience teaching Science to primary or secondary school students
- Excellent knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to engage and motivate students
- Commitment to professional development and continuous improvement
