Chef de Partie
Are you a passionate and reliable cook with experience in preparing hearty, traditional meals? We're looking for a Chef de Partie or Sous Chef to join our kitchen team, with flexible hours available across weekdays, weekends, and as sickness cover.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook meals from a set menu to a high standard
Deliver traditional and basic dishes such as curries, shepherd's pie, lasagna, and other comfort classics
Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen
Support the Head Chef in day-to-day kitchen operations
Ensure consistent food quality and portion control
Requirements:
- Basic DBS
- NVQ Level 2
Proven experience cooking in a professional kitchen
Confidence preparing a variety of traditional meals
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple orders
Good communication and teamwork skills
Flexible availability, including weekend and sickness cover shifts
