Are you an experienced Strategic Lead for Homelessness, Rough Sleeping and Supported Accommodation ready to make an immediate impact within a high-profile local authority environment? Reporting directly to the Director of Housing Options and Homelessness, you will lead critical frontline and strategic services at a time of increasing demand, driving service transformation, performance improvement and sustainable outcomes for residents.

This is a senior leadership opportunity equivalent to Head of Service level, where you will have the autonomy to influence strategic direction, shape service delivery and lead large-scale operational teams. As Strategic Lead for Homelessness, Rough Sleeping and Supported Accommodation, you will play a key role in ensuring services remain resident-focused, financially sustainable and responsive to changing needs.

Your Role as Strategic Lead for Homelessness, Rough Sleeping and Supported Accommodation:

• Provide visible leadership across Homelessness, Rough Sleeping and Supported Accommodation services
  • Drive service transformation, innovation and continuous improvement programmes
  • Lead on performance, operational delivery and financial sustainability
  • Build strong relationships with senior leaders, elected members and external partners
  • Shape and deliver strategic priorities that improve resident outcomes and service effectiveness

Your Previous Experience as a Strategic Lead for Homelessness, Rough Sleeping and Supported Accommodation:

• Experience operating at Head of Service or equivalent senior leadership level within Housing or Homelessness services
  • Strong knowledge of homelessness legislation, housing options and supported accommodation
  • Proven track record leading large-scale change and transformation programmes
  • Experience managing complex services, significant budgets and multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to influence and engage a wide range of stakeholders, partners and elected members
