Looking to broaden your capital modelling expertise in a global insurance environment? Here's your chance.A leading specialty insurer is seeking a Capital Actuary to support their international capital modelling function. Covering both regulated and non-regulated entities, this role offers wide exposure across risk modules, the opportunity to contribute to model development, and visibility to senior stakeholders. Key responsibilities:Deliver regular model updates and present results to management.Work closely with Finance, Exposure Management, and other teams to refresh assumptions, validate inputs and review methodologies.Prepare clear management information, including risk metrics and reporting packs for committees.Contribute to the development and testing of capital model enhancements, ensuring robust implementation.What you'll bring:At least 3 years' experience in a general insurance actuarial or risk role, ideally with capital modelling or London Market knowledge.Strong analytical and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.Confident communicator with the ability to explain technical concepts to a range of stakeholders. (Bonus: familiarity with capital modelling software, Python or R programming skills.)Why apply?
