Head of Engineering Infrastructure
The successful candidate will lead the central engineering and continuous improvement activities for a complex, asset-intensive industrial organisation. This is a broad and influential role spanning engineering strategy, infrastructure, reliability, asset performance, and capital investment. You'll shape the future engineering model, create consistency and excellence across multiple sites, and influence the senior leadership team.

The Work
- Develop and implement engineering strategy
- Lead and coordinate the central engineering function
- Improve reliability, asset performance, and engineering standards
- Manage OPEX and CAPEX budgets
- Collaborate with diverse stakeholder groups
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Influence senior leadership and operational teams
- Oversee infrastructure assets, utilities, and critical operational systems
What You Need
- Chartered or professionally qualified engineering credentials
- Strong electrical and/or multi-disciplinary engineering expertise
- Proven experience in complex, asset-intensive environments
- Track record of improving reliability and asset performance
- Significant experience in OPEX and CAPEX management
- Experience operating across matrix organisations
Desirable
- Experience in heavy industrial manufacturing or related sectors
- Knowledge of the Cornwall region
