Head of Insurance Activity
A senior leadership opportunity is available within a high-growth marine insurance brokerage that combines London Market expertise with advanced loss-prevention technology, data platforms, and analytics to optimise insurance programmes at scale.
The business has experienced rapid growth in recent years, achieving significant annual revenue and continuing to expand with the support of external investors and global industry partners.
The Opportunity
The organisation is seeking to appoint a Head of London Insurance Activity to lead and grow its UK operations. This is a leadership and partnership role offering substantial autonomy and strategic influence, rather than a traditional employment position. The role will play a key part in shaping London market strategy, developing broker and insurer relationships, and driving long-term, sustainable growth.

Ideal Background
- Senior leadership experience within the London marine insurance market
- Strong relationships with marine brokers and underwriters, with established market credibility
- Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to operate in a high-growth environment
- Proven track record of growing teams, portfolios, and revenue
- Hands-on leadership experience in marine insurance broking
- Experience managing complex and high-exposure risks
- Background in leading marine insurance or broking firms preferred
